ルネ・マグリットを中心に、20世紀ベルギー美術を研究しています。専門は美術史、文化政策史、表象文化論、シュルレアリスム美術研究です。作品そのものだけでなく、それを生み出し、受け入れた社会や制度にも目を向けながら、ベルギーを主なフィールドに研究を続けています。

study twentieth-century Belgian art, with a focus on René Magritte. My research spans art history, the history of cultural policy, visual and cultural representation, and Surrealism. Working primarily in Belgium, I look at artworks together with the institutions and societies that produced and received them.
